And so it begins...


Whilst strolling along Locust Walk late last evening, I observed many (supposedly) hired/duressed goons billposting for the upcoming elections on Campus.

The above were posted on random billposters to express metaphorical disdain at the lack of genuineness and worldly understanding among the candidates with such tag line atrocities as:


"Your Pennkey to Success"
"He's Money"
"Keeping it Old School" (accompanied by carciatures of Nickelodeon characters)
"Save our Squirrels"

Realistically, candidature for election is oft for the sole purpose of satisfying power/ego requirements. I'd wager a large proportion just seem to get off on seeing their name around campus. One would like to think that the general student population would have enough collective intelligence to elect a person of sound morals and integrity, not the most cool/cult billposter.
